Steven Juarez

VIOLA

Steven is a passionate and dedicated musician who has excelled as an ensemble leader and music administrator. As a founding member of The Cezanne Quartet, his journey in music began at the age of nine when he started studying the viola.

Throughout his musical career, Steven has been influenced by a multitude of talented professionals and ensembles, including Arkady Fomin, Andrés Díaz, and the Altius Quartet, among others. His musical style has been shaped by these collaborations and further refined through masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Peter Slowik and Roberto Díaz. Steven pursued his studies at The Peabody Institute of Music and Southern Methodist University under the guidance of Victoria Chiang and Ellen Rose, respectively.

Currently residing in Garland, Texas, Steven not only continues his own musical education but also imparts his knowledge to students in the Dallas metro area public school systems. Beyond his musical pursuits, he finds enjoyment in sports, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
